ARTICLE 2 – SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These GTC govern all contractual relationships between Meubelco SRL and its Customers. Any order placed through the website constitutes the Customer’s unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Meubelco SRL reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. In such a case, the terms and conditions applicable to the order shall be those in force on the date the Customer places the order.

ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCT INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY

Product descriptions

Each product is presented with a detailed description. The visuals and photographs displayed on the website are intended to be as accurate as possible but are not strictly contractual. Minor variations in colour or shade may occur depending on the Customer’s screen and lighting conditions.

Stock availability

Our offers are valid as long as they are visible on the website and subject to product availability. If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been confirmed, the Customer will be notified immediately by email and may choose to exchange the product or request a full refund.

ARTICLE 4 – PRICES

The prices of our products are stated in Euros (€), including all applicable taxes (VAT included), including the applicable Belgian VAT.

The displayed prices do not include handling and delivery costs, which are calculated and displayed separately before the final confirmation of the order.

ARTICLE 5 – ORDERING PROCESS

To place an order, the Customer must follow the steps below:

  1. Select the desired products and add them to the shopping cart.
  2. Validate the contents of the shopping cart.
  3. Enter the required identification, delivery and billing details.
  4. Select the delivery method and payment method.
  5. Review the order summary, accept the GTC and confirm the order with an obligation to pay.

An order confirmation email summarising the details of the order will be sent to the Customer as soon as the transaction has been successfully validated.

ARTICLE 6 – PAYMENT TERMS AND SECURITY

Purchases must be paid for in full using the following secure payment methods:

  • Bank card: Visa, Mastercard and Bancontact.
  • Bank transfer: The order will be processed as soon as the funds are received in our business bank account.
  • PayPal: Immediate payment or the option to pay in four instalments, subject to PayPal’s applicable terms and eligibility requirements.
  • Deferred payment solutions (3x, 4x or long-term financing): These may be offered in partnership with our financial service providers. Approval of financing is subject to the decision of the relevant financial institution.

Payment data is protected by SSL encryption and, where applicable, by the 3D Secure verification protocol.

ARTICLE 7 – DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

Delivery terms

Products are delivered to the delivery address provided by the Customer during the ordering process.

Delivery times

Delivery times indicated on the website are provided for information purposes only. Meubelco SRL shall not be held liable for delays caused by transport companies or by events beyond its reasonable control, including cases of force majeure.

Receipt and inspection

Upon delivery, the Customer is advised to check the general condition of the parcel and the goods in the presence of the delivery driver.

In the event of visible damage, the Customer should record precise and specific reservations on the delivery note (for example: “box dented, product damaged”) and refuse delivery of the parcel if necessary.

The Customer should notify Meubelco SRL’s customer service in writing within 48 hours and provide supporting photographs.

ARTICLE 8 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

Legal period

The Customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide a reason, subject to the applicable legal exceptions.

Return conditions

  • The Customer must notify customer service in advance of their intention to return the product.
  • The product must be returned at the Customer’s expense, unless otherwise provided by applicable law, in its original condition, complete, unassembled and carefully packaged, preferably in its original packaging.

Refund

The refund will be issued within 14 days following receipt of the returned goods or, where applicable, proof of their shipment, subject to the applicable legal provisions. The refund will be made using the same payment method as that used for the original order, unless otherwise agreed with the Customer.

ARTICLE 9 – LEGAL WARRANTIES AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE

All our products benefit from the applicable legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects, in accordance with Belgian and European legislation applicable to consumers.

In the event of a defective or non-conforming product or part, the Customer must contact our customer service and provide a description of the issue together with supporting photographs where appropriate.

The legal guarantees do not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper use or handling, assembly that does not comply with the instructions, modifications made to the product or inadequate maintenance, subject to the applicable legal provisions.

ARTICLE 10 – LIABILITY

Meubelco SRL shall not be held liable for failure to perform or delay in performing its contractual obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including stock shortages, force majeure, disruptions or total or partial strikes, particularly affecting postal services, transport services or other logistics providers.

ARTICLE 11 – PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)

The personal data collected from the Customer is necessary for processing orders, managing customer relationships and issuing invoices. Meubelco SRL undertakes to process and protect this data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection legislation.

ARTICLE 12 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All elements of the Meubelco SRL website, including texts, visuals, photographs, logos, graphics and other content, remain the exclusive intellectual property of the company or its respective rights holders.

Any reproduction, representation, use, modification or reuse, in whole or in part, for any purpose whatsoever is prohibited without prior written authorisation, except where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

ARTICLE 13 – APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These GTC are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply under the legislation of the country in which the Customer resides.

In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact Meubelco SRL first in order to seek an amicable solution.

In the absence of an amicable agreement, any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the applicable legal rules, including the mandatory jurisdiction rules applicable to consumers.
